Mountainside Methodist is a strong faith community. We encourage you to join us for a live stream service at 9 AM on Sunday morning. This service is interactive and includes music we sing together, a message, videos, and break-out small group rooms. On the first Sunday of the month, you are encouraged to bring food and a drink (juice or coffee) for a blessing and to share in fellowship with others.
The classic on-site service with both traditional hymns and contemporary music is at 10:30 pm Sunday mornings. The pastor brings a relevant, biblically-based message that is seasonal and contemporary. All safety protocols are observed. A limited Nursery is available during this service due to COVID-19.
There are opportunities to worship together at other times, including on-line prayer times, live streaming services on special days. Please see our Church Calendar for more details.

Music Ministry Music enhances our worship, bringing people together and offering participation opportunities for all ages and talents.
Adult Choir is a key element of our traditional worship services and is open to anyone who enjoys singing and is available for weekly practice.
Mountainside Jug Band engages a variety of instruments and songs to support local community outreach activities, as well as Mountainside UMC worship services.
Contemporary Worship Band leads our contemporary worship service in music.
Jubilee is a classical brass instrumental group performing at worship and special events.
Messy Church is a multi-generational worship service that includes games, crafts, music, message, and action. Held once a month and all are welcome.
Pet Blessing Usually held the first part of October, this special worship service is designed for pets, large and small, and their owners.
