The Victory Quilt ministry began at Mountainside United Methodist Church in 2006. Since then over 150 quilts have been presented to people with illness or crisis. Based on Acts 19:11-12*, these blessed quilts have been sent all across the United States and other countries.
The Victory Quilt ministry is open to anyone who would like to help. You don't need quilting experience to join us. We welcome help cutting fabric, ironing and folding fabric, and preparing quilts. If you can sew a 1/4" seam you can quilt. If you would like to take a quilt to present to a friend or family member with a medical or serious crisis, you are welcome to get one from the church office. Please fill out the quilt card and leave it in the box and be sure to give the letter to the recipient with the quilt. |

Victory Quilters meet the third Saturday of each month at the church for quilting, sharing, instruction, fellowship and prayer. If you would like to share in this important ministry, please contact one of the Victory Quilters (Ruth Porter, Dora Scheer, Judy Robinson or Davra Clayton) or just join us at 10:00 am.
*Acts 19:11-12 - God did extraordinary miracles through Paul, so that even handkerchiefs and aprons that had touched him were taken to the sick, and their illnesses were cured and the evil spirits left them. |
