Study and Fellowship Mountainside offers small group studies and fellowship opportunities for all ages. Everyone is welcome. Most groups are meeting on-line at this time. Please refer to our main page for Zoom instructions and links.
The Pastor’s Bible Study currently meets on Thursday evenings at 6:00 PM on-line. The group selects topics and chooses the books to read. Pastor Mills leads the class.
During Lent 2021 we journey together seeking God’s Presence: A Pilgrimage. A pilgrimage is a journey of faith, often to an unknown place, where a person goes in search of new or expanded meaning about their self and about our God whose presence we seek. The weekly reflection guide and activity list for worship, study, and prayer is posted on the home page under the Pilgrimage tab.
We have small groups and Sunday School classes for all ages
These Grow activities and Adult Sunday School classes will resume when we are able to gather in the building:
Holy Yoga combines prayer, scripture, Christian music and exercise. Chair classes and mat classes are offered.
The Fellowship Class, Fellowship Hall. Geared for adults, the topics in this class are participant-driven, focused on a specific book of the Bible.
The Grace Class, Round Room. This class takes on a wide variety of topics ranging from issues facing Christians today to in-depth Bible study. Discussion is guided through selected books and videos.
The Life Class, Pastor’s Office. Rather than following a specific agenda, this class incorporates video studies designed to foster discussion around various relevant topics of today.
The Neu Class, MAC stage. The group focuses on devotions from the Upper Room, using “round-table” discussion and encourages every- one to have a voice.
