IN THE DUST OF THE RABBI

Did you ever wonder what it was like to be one of Jesus’ disciples and to experience following him through the different cities and towns?  If you would like to get a close up experience and understanding of being a disciple of Jesus, then join us for a three week series called “In The Dust of the Rabbi.”  This event will take place March 14, 21 and 28 which will involve two components. The first part is a video presentation presented by Ray Vander Laan who takes you on site to the homes and villages in Israel to see first hand what it was like growing up during the time of Jesus.  Each Sunday School Class will be offering this excellent video presentation on Sunday morning with a discussion to follow. Secondly, there will be a three part “In the Dust of the Rabbi” sermon series to further explore the meaning of discipleship during the time of Jesus and how that relates to our calling today.  Listings of the Sunday School Classes and their location will be on the bulletin board in the foyer or visit our website at www.mountainsidemethodist.org and click on “ministries.”  We invite you to join us on this special  journey.
